Bloquera El Progreso started by manually manufacturing CONCRETE BLOCKS in 1970. Due to the increasing product demand, the first of four semiautomatic hydraulic machines was acquired in 1978, from Columbia Machines Inc. USA. Years later, the company wanted to expand its product portfolio and thus a new division opened in 2004, which offered CONCRETE PIPES AND HALF CONCRETE DRAINAGE PIPES on a variety of sizes, and with the highest-quality standards. These new services supported the expansion of the name EL PROGRESO around the country. In 2011, a visionary management produced a third family of products: a new plant of PREFABRICATED products to offer concrete retaining walls and houses, with the same quality expected by the customer. Constant change promoted the addition of a new product, PROBLOQUE, to the catalog in 2019. It combines the speed and low cost from the prefabricated products with the strength of the GRADE A concrete blocks.
